Hello All...

Here is a video of the Nixeus Fusion XS (NX-500) Showing off Movie Flow but I believe the Video Guy ... Did NOT under stand how to Use Movie Flow as He only Showed One Of the Menu Options list mode only ... There are 4 Modes: list, theater, Wall, and Slide mode ...Menu Options ...

Error While Downloading trailors

Hi,

First thanks for adding the boxset option, somehow i haven't got to work it though, not sure if i have to move the Movie folders out of single folder e.g. i have 007 collection folder having all movie folder for james bond movies.
If i have to move the movie folder out of parent folder ; do i need to regenerate entire database ?

Also with latest update i am getting :-

Line -1:

Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded

Michael,

I deleted a few old movies today and moved some other videos around so I thought it be a good idea to Reset the Image Pointers, however I wasn't really paying attention because I accidently clicked on the Clear The Database Before Scanning option and then had to wait for a couple of hours for Movieflow to re-scan everything all over again

So I was thinking that maybe for idiots like me there could be a warning asking ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CLEAR THE DATABASE BEFORE SCANNING? OK/Cancel

Just thought it might be another good way to help idiot proof MovieFlow

Hey Michael,

Sorry if it seems that everytime I come to the forum it's to tell you my problems - but I have a new one

I actually have several Movie Flow databases so I can seperate my movies from my kids movies & I also use seperate databases for each TV genre. This has been working well since I started using Movie Flow but today I noticed that it took quite some time to build one of my small menus. I checked the menu folder on my popcorn hour and noticed that Movie Flow has built a huge menu containing every video file I have - like it has combined all my seperate databases into a single menu.

Is this now normal behaviour for Movieflow?

Just so you know - I am using Movie Flow build 11/21/2011 and tested with Basic & LedTV skins with the same result.

I think I might know what's happening...

Movie Flow builds the current menu locally on my computer in the folder C:\Movie Flow for All 1.2.6\temp\.. then trasnfers the completed menu to my Popcorn Hour hard drive. I assume in the past Movie Flow would clean out this temp folder at the begining of each build, but now it has stopped doing that and if I build say large movie menu containing 300+ movies then build my small home movie menu containing only about 10 videos - the temp folder still contains all the images and html files for the larger Movies menu and the transfers all this to the Popcorn Hour. So a small menu that used to be about 5Mb is now more like 150Mb.

What do you think Michael?

::EDIT:: Just noticed the Force Clean Download option is no longer removing the previous menu from the Popcorn Hour...

Hi Michael, im getting a new error. When build is finish and ia run it the menu is all mest up! I get no images what so ever on any of the skins, I only get movie titles no images or buttons, what can be doing this?

I allready tried clean download
movie do play
I even tried runnig the flow as an administrator
the menu flow workg good, its only the movie flow that dosnt

just to keep u up: using, movie collector, win 7 64bits, and the newest update of movie an menu flow

Michael,

Since I downloaded and installed the latest Movie Flow, my menus are missing the movie cover images when using the Basic skin. It's not until I click on the right or left arrows that the covers appear.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Adding hard return to episode plot?

Hello Michael,

Is it possible to add a '"hard return" to the plot of a TV show by adding a special character like \r, \n or even \r\n ?

Example:

Change to folowing plot for an episode of Mythbusters from this:

Myths tested: Can an airplane toilet create enough suction to cause a person to become stuck on it? Can a can of biscuit dough explode in a hot car? Can a person throw himself through a skyscraper window?

To look more like this:

Myths tested:

If you think MovieFlow may be unable to do this, then with your knowledge of Jave on the PCH, perhaps could you suggest something I could adjust manually in the .html file from the menu's details folder?

not getting watched flags and hd movies

HELLO MICHAEL, WEL IM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE ALMOST EVERITHING WORKING, IM GOING INTO DETAIL NOW, AND I CANT
1. MAKE THE WATCHED FLAGS (GLASES) TO APEAR IM USING THE LED TV SKIN AS THE VIDEO TUTORIAL SHOWS I UPDATED THE FLAGS AND EVERITHING BUT THEY WONT SHOW

2. ON THE SERIES AS WELL AS THE BOXSET CANT MAKE THEM TO APEAR ALL IN ONE FILE ALLREADY CREATED THE BOXSET COVERS, ALL MY SERIES END UP WITH SEASON 1

3. AND FINALY HOY CAN I MAKE THE HD LOGO TO WORK? IM IMPORTING FROM MOVIE COLLECTOR

HI MICHAEL SO IM TUNNING UP, DID THE PHOTO FLOW AND THE MOVIE FLOW COVER! BUT NOW I WANT TO ADD A SECOND MOVIE DATABES ON MY HARD DRIVE IN WICH I HAVE ALL MY HOME VIDEOS
BUT IM HAVING TROUBLE BECAUSE MY MOVIES ARE ON MOVIE COLLECTOR DATABAES (IMPORT) AND MY HOME MOVIES I SCAN THEM, I FDONT WANT THEM TO BE IN THE SAME LIST, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IN MENU MEDIA FLOW AN ICON FOR PHOTOS A ICON FOR MOVIES! Looks Great But Movies wont play

I really need some help please.
my os is windows 7. I have a c200.
i have mapped the z drive to PC.
My movies are on the pch's hard drive all seems to go well but movies wont play.
My pc mapped folder is z:\my movies\ my NMT Local device is my movies/
When I click on Check PCH url I get re in the PCH mapped drives.
I ave tried putting the ip address and name but still get re in the mapped drive.
I have a feeling that this might be the problem. Any help would be most appreciated

first of all I am new 2 this amazing kind of Jukebox Systems and I have to give my highest respect to the author! I have tried many others with different skins etc. and after trying and testing Michaels idea I came to the point to say: This is it! Really fine and great work I appreciate it.
Sure, nothing and nobody is perfect and some things can always be done better but I can see a very high potential for it to become 1st class on all NMTs. Carry on with your development.

OK, what does the subject mean in detail?
A: I have installed latest releases of Media Menu Flow (MMF) and Music Video Flow (MVF) but I don´t see a way to get directly back to MMF when I am in MVF. Return button leads me back to MFV main screen but from there it has no function anymore.
Bug or a feature?
Is it possible to get an overview of the remote functions? Maybe in a new thread?

I released Photo Flow Jukebox today even though the Firmware patches
from Syabas Are not released Yet Photo Flow Jukebox is finished just watching for the Patches ... So You can Start setup up you Photo Albums and configuring your Jukebox so you will be able to enjoy all of the functions once the Firmware updates are released ...
