Video-to-HD
1) Do I have to Download and install the Open source Components Myself ?
Answer: Video-to-HD will automatically prompt you and download the
required components
upon your selection of the video format. You will only be required to accept
the
open source GPL and leave the default setting during the install process.
Note: DO NOT change any of the Default setting.
2) Does Video-to-HD
Support MP3 Audio ?
Answer: Video-to-HD only support the audio Encoders and decoders in
your system.
If
You accepted the Open GPL agreement for the Lame MP3 Audio Encoder then
Video-to-HD can use it. If you did NOT then MP3 format can NOT be used.
3) Does Video-to-HD
Support AC3 Audio Format ?
Answer: Video-to-HD can pass thru a AC3 audio stream if the original
file was encoded with AC3.
4) Does Video-to-HD
Support AAC Audio Format ?
Answer: Video-to-HD can pass thru a AAC audio stream if the original
file was encoded with AAC.
5) Does Video-to-HD
Support DTS Audio Format ?
Answer: Video-to-HD can pass thru a DTS audio stream if the original
file was encoded with DTS.
6) Does Video-to-HD
Support Xvid Format ?
Answer: Video-to-HD only support the video Encoders and decoders in
your system.
If
You accepted the Open GPL agreement for the Xvid Video Encoder then
Video-to-HD can use it. If you did NOT then Xvid format can NOT be used.
7) Does Video-to-HD
Support MKV Format ?
Answer: Video-to-HD only support the video Encoders and decoders in
your system.
If
You accepted the Open GPL agreement for the Matroska Muxer and
the Matroska Splitter then
the mkv format can be written. Note: If you want
to
use X264 video encoding in the mkv file format you must have also accepted
the
Open
GPL agreement for the X264 Video Codec. If you did NOT then X264 format
can NOT be used.
8) What video size
does Video-to-HD use when the Auto 16:9 option is Select ?
Answer: Video-to-HD looks at the current aspect ratio and increase it
until 16:9 format
is reached. Then Video-to-HD converts the video us the PAR conversion and
will match
the video's bit rate to
ensure the video quality matches the original video.
9) Does Video-to-HD
Rip Movies ?
Answer: Video-to-HD only converts videos to one of the following video
file formats:

xvid, divx, x264, mkv, avi
